Leadership Learning
Our L3
Leadership Learning Process begins with an assessment of where
the individual is in their leadership evolution. Several methodologies
including Behavioral Assessments and 360-degree Feedback tools are
employed to determine a baseline for establishing the learning process.
The first level
(L1) is "Leading Self". Leadership begins with an internal
sense of self-confidence, emotional intelligence and balance which
brings forth an authentic leadership presence. This "quiet
confidence" is one, which effortlessly engages followers who
will support the leader by offering trust, passion, calculated risk,
emotional intelligence, and a host of other supportive attributes
that provide high performance and productivity.
Our "learning
process" exposes the individual to a range or situations, coaching
and group learning sessions that develop these qualities in them.
This is the
basis of L3 at the "Leading Self" level.
"Leading
With Others" (L2), emerges from the stability established at
level one. Collaborative learning and work are modeled for the individual
and various work groups throughout the organization. Here leading
and following are blended allowing for self led individuals to augment
styles to create "fit". This fit provides groups with
know-how, behaviors, and skills to co-create and deliver results
while avoiding working against each other. Momentum comes from alignment,
role augmentation, and trust.
Lastly, L3.
"Leading Others". Levels L1 and L2 provide the foundation
for the best of authentic leadership. This is the high result level
where levels 1 -Self- and 2 -With Others- give way to real POWER.
This is not position power or even influence power but rather a
regenerative POWER that is additive to the organization and its
people.
Engaging, mobilizing,
and motivating others to realize their own leadership POWER fuels
the leadership engine. This POWER creates a climate of self-responsibiility,
trust, and risk taking based on people who lead themselves. People
who lead themselves make stronger leaders who create stronger leadership
teams and together they build high performance organizations. |
